Terms and Conditions

Tension Member Technology (TMT Labs) – Purchase Order Terms and Conditions
This document communicates flow-down requirements to suppliers in accordance with AS9100 Rev D.

  1. Quality Management System
    Suppliers shall maintain a quality management system compliant with ISO 9001, AS9100, or equivalent (unless otherwise authorized in writing by TMT Labs).
  2. Right of Access
    The supplier shall provide right of access by TMT Labs, its customers, and regulatory authorities to applicable areas of facilities, processes, records, and personnel involved in fulfilling this order.
  3. Flow Down of Requirements
    The supplier shall flow down to sub-tier suppliers all applicable requirements of this purchase order, including customer, regulatory, and AS9100 requirements.
  4. Product and Service Conformity
    The supplier is responsible for ensuring that products and services provided conform to all requirements of the purchase order, drawings, specifications, and referenced standards.
  5. Notification of Changes
    Suppliers shall notify TMT Labs of any changes to processes, products, services, suppliers, or manufacturing location, and obtain approval prior to implementation.
  6. Nonconforming Product
    Suppliers shall promptly notify TMT Labs of nonconforming product, obtain disposition approval, and prevent recurrence. Unauthorized repair or rework is not permitted unless approved in writing.
  7. Counterfeit Parts Prevention
    Suppliers shall have a process in place to prevent the use or delivery of counterfeit parts/materials and ensure authenticity of all components provided.
  8. Records Retention
    Quality records related to this order shall be retained for a minimum of 10 years (unless otherwise specified) and made available to TMT Labs upon request.
  9. Competence and Awareness
    The supplier shall ensure that employees are competent, aware of their contribution to product/service conformity, product safety, and the importance of ethical behavior.
  10. Verification and Validation
    Where applicable, TMT Labs may require verification, validation, inspection, test activities, or the use of statistical techniques at the supplier’s facility.
  11. Special Requirements, Key Characteristics, and Critical Items
    Suppliers shall ensure control of any special requirements, critical items, or key characteristics defined in the purchase order, drawings, or specifications.
  12. Packaging and Preservation
    Suppliers shall use appropriate methods to prevent damage, deterioration, or contamination during handling, storage, and delivery.
  13. Calibration
    All inspection, measurement, and test equipment used shall be calibrated and traceable to national or international standards.
  14. Ethical Behavior
    Suppliers shall ensure personnel conduct business with integrity and in compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
